• IP address: For anti-abuse, rate-limiting, and security analytics.
• Poll content & votes: Titles, options, and vote counts, tied to your account or guest token.
• Cookies/local storage: Session state, preferences, and draft data for smoother UX.

2. Why We Collect It

• Enable poll creation, management, and restoration.
• Send essential service messages (e.g., confirmations).
• Prevent abuse and maintain fair voting.
• Improve reliability via aggregated, anonymized analytics.

3. Data Retention

• Account data persists until deleted by you.
• Polls/votes persist while your account is active or until you remove them.
• Guest polls may be purged after inactivity in line with housekeeping schedules.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

• Access/Export: Request a copy of your data.
• Erasure: Delete your account and polls.
• Rectification: Update email or preferences.
• Consent: Withdraw consent for optional notifications.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Used for sessions, drafts, and vote limits. You can disable them in your browser, but some features may stop working.

6. Account & Guest Management

Account holders can update or delete their data in the dashboard. Guests can manage polls via their unique token link.

7. Security Measures

We apply modern encryption and firewall practices. Access to systems is limited to authorized administrators.

8. Terms of Service (Use of the Platform)

• Acceptable Use: No illegal, harmful, or infringing content. No attempts to bypass vote integrity mechanisms.
• Availability: The service is provided “as is” and may change or be interrupted for maintenance.
• Ownership: You retain rights to your poll content; you grant us a limited license to host and display it for service delivery.
• Liability: To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
• Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
